ABOUT Kimberly Koll, MS, LMHC, LPC, NCC

Welcome! I'm Kimberly Koll, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado, Indiana, Michigan, Louisiana, Texas, and Wyoming and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida and Indiana.

I’m a proud military spouse, which means I’ve had the opportunity to pursue licensure in multiple states – and I can still help clients who live in those states, too!

At Crimson Cardinal Counseling, you’re not alone in your struggles. I understand what you’re navigating on a professional and personal level.

As a counselor and military spouse, I’m deeply passionate about supporting others with human connection, since this is often lacking in military culture.

I was a hospice counselor for five years, volunteer grief counselor for another four years, and have worked in grief, loss, and bereavement for 15 years.

I began to specialize in infertility after struggling with it myself for a decade, and the experience shaped how I care for both individuals and couples in therapy.

In addition to my lived experience, my education and training are designed to support individuals, couples, and families during life’s toughest moments.

I'm currently working toward my national certification as a couples and individual therapist specializing in sex therapy.

I'm also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), so my approach to therapy – especially around grief and loss – is trauma informed.

Lastly, my Master’s degrees are in School and Mental Health Counseling from Butler University.

Your story is unique, and I am here to help you paint it vividly.

I can help you take a leap of faith and embrace the colorful spectrum of life’s emotions and experiences – both the dark and the light.
